1) March 6 – Melina Mercouri day

 2) April 18 – International day of monuments ans sites

 3) May 18 – International museum day

 4) June 5 – World Environment day

 5) Every last weekend of September – European Heritage Days

Reduced admissions

1) Citizens of Greece and citizens of other European Union countries over 65 years old are entitled to reduced admission by showing identity card/ passport.

 2) Students of universities and colleges outside the European Union are entitled to reduced admission by showing their student ID.

Free admissions

1) Holders of special membership card of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), by showing their cards.

2) Academics and teachers on a private visit by showing a valid identity card or any other identification document.

3) Young persons up to 18 years of age, by showing their identity card or passport.

4) People accompanying blind or disabled people.

5) Journalists by showing their journalistic identity card.

6) Students of higher educational institutions or Technological Educational Institutes or equivalent institutes from member states of the European Union.

7) Tourist Guide Universities students, by showing their student ID.
